Story
The Hatch Chile Store is a direct-to-consumer retailer of Hatch Valley chile, founded in 2005 by Preston Mitchell, a fifth-generation member of a Hatch Valley farming family and a Director of The Hatch Chile Association. From its fresh-pack facility in Garfield, New Mexico, just north of Hatch, the store ships fresh, roasted, and frozen Hatch green chile, red chile, and prepared New Mexican foods nationwide.
