Olam Spices and Vegetable Ingredients

Olam Spices and Vegetable Ingredients is the spices business of olam food ingredients, and since 2021 it has marketed its spice products under the name Spices by ofi. Its red chile plant in Las Cruces, New Mexico covers 22 acres and processes red chile grown in the Hatch Valley into products including paprika, chili powder, ancho powder and chipotle powder. The wider business also supplies dehydrated onion and garlic, peppercorns, herbs and frozen vegetable purees. In 2020 the company announced the purchase of the Deming, New Mexico chile pepper business formerly known as Border Foods, adding green chile and jalapeno lines and expanding its chile sourcing in the Hatch Valley.
