Story
Seco Spice is a wholesale chile and vegetable company headquartered in Berino, New Mexico, with a second processing plant in Artesia. Ed and Julie Ogaz founded it in 1996. Both were raised in the Hatch Valley in farming families, and the Ogaz family has grown chile in the valley for three generations. The company roasts, dices and freezes green chile, dehydrates red and green chile, and makes organic and conventional chile powders, spice blends and dried vegetables, sourcing from farms in New Mexico and the Hatch Valley region.
